![]() The first game dramatically reworks the anime's plotline in the interest of actually considering "What would happen if won all these fights?" e.g. It's especially underwhelming when you play as villains 'cause the story just says you lose certain fights regardless of whether or not you did. The second game generally reworks only very minor details to justify the player's character being involved in parts of the plot they weren't originally around for. Both games have "What-If" stories, but I honestly think the first game handles them a lot better.
